| Music Ministry: |
| This ministry is multi-faceted and a very important part of the worship experience of our church family. We welcome soloists, instrumentalists, and all those who wish to participate in the worship service of the church through music, drama, and dance. |
| Chancel Choir - High School Youth and Adults: |
| The Chancel Choir prepares and presents choral music and leads the congregational singing in the the "generation gap." Very special friendships can be made with other people sharing the same worship services. The group is made up of youth (14+) as well as adults who enjoy singing - bridging interests. It can also be an opportunity for couples or parents and young adults to share in a church activity. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. |
| Children's Choir - Ages 5 and up: |
| The Haysville United Methodist Church Children's Choir is the newest addition to the music ministries. Currently, the group is working on a special appearance in the Christmas program and will hopefully continue with its special ministry in 2010. If your child is interested in joining this group please join us for rehearsals. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. |
| Special Music: |
| Soloists and ensembles are encouraged to share their musical talents for worship services and special occasions. These may be either vocal or instermental and will provide an opportunity for those who would participate in the music of the church. Scheduling and rehearsal is arranged with the Music Coordinator. Seasonal choirs may also be formed, giving those who cannot make the regular choir rehearsal and opportunity to sing with a group. Rehearsals for Special music are by special arrangement |
| This group of singers leads music during the blended worship service. Normal rehearsal time is Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., or when group members can arrange special times. Call the church office if you have a desire to sing and play contemporary music. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. |
