All Church Potluck April 14, 2013
Join us after services on Sunday April 14 to enjoy a little of everything. We have great food when we have our potlucks. Everyone brings something amazing! It will begin at 12:15 after our 11:00 service ends.
Confirmation Rally for our confirmands April 12 – 13
Our young people committed to learning more Jesus and about our church will be attending a confirmation rally at East Heights UMC on Friday and Saturday April 12-13. If you are a youth that needs to go, go and have fun! If you are an adult, who isn’t going, please pray for our young people as they experience Jesus and see how vital he is in their lives.
Spring Fling Craft Show and Seed & Plant sale April 20, 2013
The Spring Fling Craft show will be in our Fellowship Hall and will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday April 20. We will have all kinds of booths for you to check out. We will also have some seeds and/or plants to sell at very reasonable prices. That will be in our Fellowship Hall. Be sure to come by before 4:00 because we will be finished with our events at that time.
Kid’s Picnic April 28, 2013
Everyone is invited to come to a picnic for kids at a local park from 12:15-1:30pm. We will walk up to the park on South Jane after the second service. Everyone bring some food and plan to have lots of fun!!
Wednesday night classes!
We have our Stephen’s Ministers classes for those enrolled to become Stephen’s ministers. For more information, talk to our pastor. We have the griefShare group at 5:30 in the library every Wednesday for those who would like to come. All are welcome.
JAM Wednesday nights!
All kids ages 4- 5th grade can come and join us for Jesus and Me every Wednesday night! We will have an hour for fun crafts and Bible lessons from 6:30-7:30. The kids and adult leaders all have fun learning about Jesus and how He is involved in our everyday lives.
Sonshine Choir
Kids are welcome to join our choir! We will be learning songs on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm in the sanctuary. All kids ages Kindergarten – 5th grade are welcome. Soon we will be singing during a church service! Come and join the fun.
Breaking Bread is back!
Our meal for this week, Wednesday April 10 is Ham & Potato Break. We hope that you will continue coming to our delicious meals on Wednesday nights. The price for one meal is $4.50 for an adult and $2.00 for a child or $12.75 for a family of four or more. See you soon!
