Crusaders Class

Crusaders Class has been established for over 55 years. It is a diverse group of mature adults studying different aspects of the scripture. We meet in Room 1 with Glenn Crum as our teacher. Each year we sponsor the ice cream social, and since 2000, once a mont we organize the meals for the homeless. We have several social events outside of class throughout the year. We welcome new members who are interested in studying the scriptures in a creative manner and having a good time.

When Glenn and Rolla Crum first attended this class (55 years ago), it was meeting in the back room behind the Bob Clark Hardware Store. Then we moved to a classroom that is now the pantry. From there we moved to Fellowship Hall in front of the stage (Now the door to the Family Life Center). From there we went to the Fellowship Hall overflow room off the kitchen, then to room 1 off the gathering area, and finaly ended up in room 2-3 in the west hall.

We celebrate Christmas with a class supper at the church right in our classroom. We have a chili supper each year where everyone brings chili, and we dump it all together. It makes a delicious chili. Of course, we each bring another side dish. We collect hats, gloves, and socks in December and deliver them in January also to the homeless shelter. We are a fun class!
